
Symphysodon aequifasciatus
The king of the planted aquarium. Our red turquoise discus are raised to 3 inches and eating frozen and pellet food before they leave the studio. Keep five or more in a large, warm tank (28–31 °C) with soft water and generous weekly water changes. Pair well with cardinal tetras and rummy-nose tetras.
